Delicate lacing on the edges of these leaves caught my eye. With all the wind and the storms we've had this winter, I can't believe that there's a single 2008 leaf left in all of Texas! I thought the frost was fascinating, the way it tatted the edges of the uppermost leaves.
Beautiful image! At a glance I thought it was mushrooms, but a closer look shows frosty leaves!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch - that frost goes so quickly, you got it at the right time. I love the shot when you look at it full size.
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't think those drab browns could make such a pleasing photo, but they do! Nicely captured, Sunny...
ReplyDeleteI also thought it was mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteGreat texture! Great catch! I knew there is some reason I'm always looking down when I walk!
Nature doesn't do what we want, even if we are TEXANs. Great shot of natures wonders.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that frost was gone in a flash...you caught it just in time. Looking down is good....
ReplyDeletePerfect timing - nature is definitely God's canvas! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuper shot - the frosting on the edges really looks great.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The brown on brown with the lacy edges if very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou've caught the delicacy of the frosty edging so well.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shot, maybe the cool patterns frost makes can ease the fact that spring can't come soon enough.
