This chair was in one of the cattle barns at the Ft. Worth Stock Show. It seemed the perfect theme for "pink", so I stopped and got a couple of shots. Got some strange looks from a couple of the 4H boys walking past, too!
Thanks everyone! Clare: THANK YOU! Kim: I was afraid to open it and look! At least it didn't wiggle! Edmund: Cowgirls abound at the Stock Show, too! There are as many girls in FFA now as boys, and a couple of years ago, it was a young lady's steer who won Grand Champion and was auctioned off for 6 figures. (Not bad for a girl! lol)
I am an avid (if not especially talented) amateur photographer. That's my third love. My first is my horses. My second is my cats.
I also have a small organic garden, big enough for my husband & I, and to share a bit with some friends and family.
I train my little horses to harness, and teach them tricks, like bowing, lying down, etc. I'm working on dressage movements with one!
really PINK. I like the shot because the chair is all scrunched up - makes it more interesting
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for pink. I agree with Barbs, all scrunched up is very interesting
ReplyDeleteOh well, I always admit I am strange, I have done stranger than take a picture LOL!
ReplyDeletePut me down for all-scrunched up really adding fun and interest to this very pink photo, too.
ReplyDeleteSunny, you are doing so well with your challenge. I can see your eye for photography improving with each post.
ReplyDeleteFun shot! I agree with Tammy - I like that the chair isn't all the way unfolded.
ReplyDeleteI think something is still in that chair! Funny interpretation!
ReplyDeleteaww let them look then tell them to check out your blog! love that color chair!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun shot! It's early in the challenge yet, maybe we should also count those looks....
ReplyDeleteNow what kind of cow boy would sit in a "Pink" chair. Great shot even if it's pink.
ReplyDeleteCan just make out the breast-cancer ribbon on the back and I think a pink cowboy hat is just around the corner somewhere! : )
