281 - Show Us Your Bokeh
Playing with my new set of three macro-filter lenses, I took this photo of some of last summer's weeds. The only problem I've found with the macro thingies, is getting close enough! These were low to the ground, and I'm certain my neighbors are now absolutely POSITIVE that I'm certifiable. Only a crazy person would stand outside on a freezing morning with her camera pointed at the ground and her posterior pointed at the sky! Well, at least I'm keeping my neighbors entertained, and giving them conversational subjects! sigh

I hate gardening, I hate WEEDS, but you managed to make these look lovely! Your story of capturing them was a bonus. Great job, crazy person! :-D
ReplyDeleteHave fun with those macro filters! I like the picture. Good job with the selective focus. Hey you're not all that crazy --- I lay down in roads LOL.
ReplyDeleteNice bokeh. I think someone should take a picture of you like that. Maybe the theme could be "Bottom's up"!!
ReplyDeleteGreat macro detail and Bokeh there.
ReplyDeleteWow, for weeds, these are beautiful - love the bokeh too - you did good!
ReplyDeleteBest looking weeds I've seen, Good job. Nice of you to keep your neighbors entertained too.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job get the weeds to look so good. Wait until there are insects, bees, butterflies oh my!
ReplyDeleteYou make even the weeds look good! Do you ever find yourself looking over your shoulder to make sure no one has a camera aimed at your backside while you're bent over getting that 'close-up shot?' ;-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been worried about someone photographing my airborne posterior--until now. Thanks, y'all!
ReplyDeletebeautiful bokeh! (didn't even know what that meant until this challenge! lol)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great example of bokeh! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty with their collar of frost. Great bokeh and funny image of you snapping the shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot...now if we see your posterior on another blog you are in trouble!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a great job with those weeds! You should make up a set of 5-6 greeting cards with your images and then give them to your neighbors so they know what you've been up to...
