169 - Leaves

Delicate lacing on the edges of these leaves caught my eye.  With all the wind and the storms we've had this winter, I can't believe that there's a single 2008 leaf left in all of Texas!  I thought the frost was fascinating, the way it tatted the edges of the uppermost leaves.

  1. Beautiful image! At a glance I thought it was mushrooms, but a closer look shows frosty leaves!

  2. Great catch - that frost goes so quickly, you got it at the right time. I love the shot when you look at it full size.
