Can't get much furrier than my little guys in the winter. To body clip one in the spring gives me a whole wheelbarrow full of hair that I have no idea what to do with. Some goes in the composter, some in the trash. By the 3rd horse, it's going in huge plastic bags in the trash.
This is Mustang, waiting for breakfast. Everyone's in need of a haircut (bridlepath and chin, NOT a bodyclip--until March!) Believe it or not, he's a pretty sharp driving horse, and he cleans up nice, too!
Sunny, I love that little horse. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome horse! I think you're living the life I dreamt of when I was a pony-obsessed 7-year-old... ;-)
ReplyDeleteSuper furry, super horse, super photo! Mustang is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHmmmmm....I wonder if you could spin the hair and knit a bridle....beautiful animal you have there.
ReplyDeleteA great "portrait"!
ReplyDeleteI love the black and white effect on this - really nice work!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable face! The detail of the "furry" is great.
ReplyDeleteFurry and Fabulous!
ReplyDelete~Great photo~

That's a great capture of Mustang.
ReplyDeleteLove the "do" on the little horse - and the picture is wonderful, too.

I am currently staying at my parents and my father has just walked past and saw this shot - he thought he was wonderful as well - so my mother wanted to know what we were looking at!!! Yep, she also thought he was the cutest
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, for the wonderful comments! I kind of let everyone "go native" through the winter. So he kinda looks like his name implies, but he's not REALLY a little wild mustang! (BTW: Mustang is 35" tall.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful animal, sure hope we are going to see more of them throughout your blog. I don't think I've ever actually seen a miniature. Cute, cute cute!
ReplyDeleteMustang is a beautiful, furry little horse!
ReplyDeleteWhat a face! I had horses (not miniatures, though...my biggest was 16.3 hands) during high school and early 20s. Wonderful animals. I enjoy visiting your blog to see your horse pics!
ReplyDeleteThis shot is absolutely stunning. Really like a painting!
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh...if you leave his buzz off air laying around...the birds will use it for nests!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone!
ReplyDelete(There's always some hair left lying around for the birds to pick up! With that much hair--and six of these guys . . .!)
