We got 1/2" of freezing rain, followed by 1/2" of sleet. Made the trip to the barn a bit risky, but uneventful (thankfully!). I got bold enough to go back for my camera once the horses were fed and watered. This is off the corner of the barn.

I'll bet it is a bit traumatic when you are not used to weather like that. Great shot. I like the blue sky and the textured wood seperated by the icicles.
ReplyDeleteIt must have got a little warm for the icicles to melt enough to freeze like that later, all you people do is complain, think of the Australians suffering 41%c today.
ReplyDeleteI love the icicles. Very nice. The color of the sky is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI know it gets cold in TX but I never thought you'd have enough sustained cold and thaw to get icicles like that. Very nice shot!
ReplyDeleteWow! Super shot! We were warmer up here in Arkansas than you were!
ReplyDeleteGreat crop! I remember knocking them down as kids and licking them - YUCK! oh well what we do as kids!! lol
ReplyDeleteFabulous image, Sunny. The sky is very beautiful here. The crop is great, also.
ReplyDeleteToday we got up to 21 degrees and it was like a heat wave :)! Love your icicles - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo! I love the ice contrasted against the blue, blue sky and the grain of the wood.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful shot - hope that's all the ice you see for a long while.
ReplyDeletelooks cold to me no matter where you are!
ReplyDeleteSounds cold for Texas. You're growing icicles as great as the ones here in Wisconsin!
