This is not part of the challenge.  I've posted some photos of a couple of my minis as part of the challenge, but for those who said they've not seen miniatures, here's a picture of Buffi as a 2-year-old with the lady from whom I bought her.  She was 29 3/4" tall at the time.  She's matured to a whopping 30 1/4"!  (Those bigger ones in the background are Shetland ponies.)

  1. Wow she's adorable, I bet they are so much fun. I assume adults cannot actually ride them though? Just wondering.

  2. It may not be as cold out then as now but you are feeling a little horse, aren't you?

  3. What a cute little guy! I really have never seen anything like this before - looks like a big dog w/ a horse's head, go figure! Thanks for sharing!

  4. The minis are too small to ride for anyone over 50 lbs, so if you know a below 50 lb adult . . . (lol). They are great at pulling carts, though. I train mine to drive and have a cart and 3 sets of harness--a small one, a larger one, and one made especially to fit the donkey's back--and driving them is as much fun as riding the big ones!
Thanks for the comments! As you can tell, I love these little guys very much. I even had to buy an album that had a song about them "I Love Minis"! (Even my horse trailer is miniature sized!)
