Here's the first one!  Taken this morning in my little pasture, just as the sun was coming up.  Off to a good start!

  2. Thanks! (This is winter rye, an annual grass we sow every year so the horses will get something green. Got a late start and an early freeze this fall, so it's just now getting big enough for them to graze on without killing it. They're happy now!)

  3. There's something I won't be seeing for a good number of months. I should have put 'white' on the list! ;-)

  5. Yep, that's green - something we haven't seen here for a while, it is very, very frosty here in the North of England.

Like the play of sun and nice to know the horses are getting a treat.

  11. Thanks for all the nice comments! I'm the only one here with green grass right now. Everyone else has Bermuda grass, and it goes away for the winter (wish I could). top5cats, my lawn mowers have 4 legs and lots of hair right now!

    Happy New Year!
