179 - Magical or Mystical (+ Mischief!)

These are the three daughters of my rescue-turned-barncat-turned-housecat, Firefly. They are Magical, Mysticfox, and Mischief! Rarely do I get them all close enough (and still) to get in one photo! They are sweet, but rambunctious, and with their three brothers (the one black one is Merlin--yes, there's a theme going there!), they are collectively known as the Furricane. This is the feminine side of the Furricane.

I hadn't intended to keep any of those kittens, but it looks like the six are here to stay. Shelters are full and hurting for adopters (and money), so these little monsters, I mean, darlings, may well be permanent residents. (sigh)

I'm two days behind on my posting! (Oh, no!) I'll be playing catch up this week. (I'm on vacation! Yea!!!!!!!!)

  3. Oh my, what furry pile of mischief and mayhem!! Furricane most likely very appropriate ;)

Good for you, to keep them all... you have a big heart! We have three (two outside, 1 inside) and I will say they are fun to watch when they play.

  6. They are definitely ruling the roost as cats have a habit of doing!! Great shot. We are "catless" for the first time in 30 years. For many years we had 3 and they definitely took over the house!!

  8. Those cats just know how to get you! Great 'trio'. So now I will think of the furricane when I see a black cat and not the old superstitution that black cats bring bad luck.

  9. Great picture, Sunny. I have dogs instead of cats at my house.
