These horsehead figures hold up photographs of previous wins for some of the farm's miniature horses (not my farm, darn it). Just look at the rows of blue ribbons in one photo, and blue, red, and yellow ones in the other! Award winners, for sure!
(BTW: minimal processing here. The colors are late afternoon sun coming through the high windows in the show barn. I brightened it and cropped it a bit, that's all!)
I am an avid (if not especially talented) amateur photographer. That's my third love. My first is my horses. My second is my cats.
I also have a small organic garden, big enough for my husband & I, and to share a bit with some friends and family.
I train my little horses to harness, and teach them tricks, like bowing, lying down, etc. I'm working on dressage movements with one!
It'll happen based on the evidence and enthusiasm that we have been privileged to wiyness in the last few months, and this is a great shot too.
ReplyDeleteNow aren't these cool - so original!
