213 - Orange
This guy was looking for crumbs, I suspect, as he kept coming closer and closer to me. I was amazed at how bright an orange his feet and legs were! I always thought the green head and brown/grey body were beautiful. I had never noticed those legs before, though. Wonder how I could have missed that!

ReplyDeleteThis is a very colorfull and well compossed shot, great job on this one Sunny.
ReplyDeleteI think they use these ducks to squash the Grapes and Oranges when they make Cointreau liqueur. I think they like them cause the webbing dies a better job on the squashing that virgins toes in Spain.
ReplyDeleteI always think these ducks are so beautiful! Love the coloring and the closeup you were able to get!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of a cool duck. We don't get these out west so I have never really noticed orange feet. He (and you) were pretty brave getting that close to each other.
ReplyDeleteNeat photo! Maybe you've never noticed his feet before because he spends most of his time in the water!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot, love the colors. I've always loved the mallards, so attractive.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the duck in action. They do have great orange feet, don't they?
