354 - Water's Edge
These are on the north end of the same pond where I found the "Curvy" heron (egret?). I'm not sure what they are, but to me they look an awful lot like some kind of Swamp Thing coming out of the water. Look out! Everybody run! (Not the most attractive thing to plant, at least in the winter!)

It certainly is an odd sort for a plant.

It makes me think of sheepdogs or maybe Cousin It. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that a bunch of wild yaks had washed ashore! Very different from the typical water's edge - nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so soft! Really kinda pretty!
ReplyDeletewhat an interesting shot I wonder what kind of plant that is
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing a sedge, what a cool one. Fun shot it does look a bit like cousin Itt.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
That made for a really interesting photo, whatever the plant is. I like the undulating lines...
